What is Period Cooking? Simply, it is making food from period recipes. We learn about period cooking techniques, known ingredients, feast eitquette, and much, much more. We research recipes used in the middle ages and recreate them. We recreate entire feasts during our meetings, as well as learn about different aspects of food and feasting in period. When a period feast is planned at an event, the cooking guild may step in and help make it a memorable one by researching and preparing the dishes. If you love to cook and you love to eat, this is certainly the group for you! Where does this take place? Dragonsspine Cook's Guild meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month at Lady Apollonia's house. Everyone is invited to come help cook, sample the dishes, and/or learn about period cooking/feasting.
