Tuesdays
- Bardic Practice
- Come all singers, storytellers, and jugglers: A night has been set in which
to practice and hone your entertaining skills, for sitting around the fire
performing for your friends. We will learn traditional and not-so-traditional
material. Newer and older performers alike are encouraged to come by
and help build up the bardic fires of our barony!

- Monthly meeting of all scribes in the Barony. Newcomers interested
in learning period calligraphy and illumination techniques are welcome!

Wednesdays
- Court Dancing
- Join your friends for period court dancing. No experience is necessary!
All steps are explained and called by our dance instructor, Master Alwyn.
Both pairs and single dancers are welcome, along with spectators. Held
every week during the Winter, and biweekly during the Summer. On the
4th Wednesday, a Court Ball and Potluck is held where the populace can demonstrate
what they have learned, and eat wonderful food. Garb recommended (highly
recommended for the monthly Ball).

Thursdays
- Fighter Practice
- Heavy fighters and rapier fighters, come and hone your skills. If
you don't fight, come to watch and socialize. This is the premiere weekly
gathering for the entire populace of Dragonsspine, and other nearby regions.
If you are a newcomer and want to learn more about the SCA, this is the perfect
place to meet people and ask questions. Garb recommended.

- Need help researching your name or heraldic device? Consult with the
baronial heraldic staff. Books of names and heraldic designs are available
for browsing. Garb recommended, as the consultations are held at fighter
practice.

Fridays
Fridays are usually used for travelling to weekend events. Many weekend
events open on Fridays to allow overnight camping. Informal gatherings,
such as movie nights, are sometimes held on Fridays.

Saturdays
Big events are usually held on the weekends. Consult the Event
Calendar for a list of upcoming events. There is almost always
an event every weekend somewhere in the Kingdom of the Outlands, if you are
willing to drive.

Sundays
- Historical Combat
Study
- Study and practice the teachings of the various period Masters of Defence.
The focus will be more on the reading and extrapolating of technique, and
less on the practicing. Topics include Period Rapier, Longsword, Arming
Sword and Buckler, Dusak, Polearms, and others. Texts include works
by Fiore, Lichtenaeur, Meyer, Saviolo, DiGrassi, Marozzo, Gigante, Sutor,
Cappo Ferro, Agrippa, and more as material becomes available.

Fighter Practice- When no large events are held in the nearby area, fighters may gather to
practice. Fewer members of the populace generally attend, so this is
a good chance for serious fighters to get some quality practice time without
some of the distractions of Tuesday fighter practice. Garb recommended.
