This name is returned for both lingual and temporal inconsistencies: it combines Old English and Middle English elements, and includes a temporal disparity of over 300 years.

Either "Cælin Winter" (Old English) or "Colin/Collin Wynter" (Middle English) would be registerable; however, the form is not clear as to what changes to the name are desired.  As a result, the name is being returned in order to clarify the submitter's wishes on the matter.

There is no evidence to support the use of "vina" as an element of a byname.  In literary works where "vinr [given name]" is used, it is not as a byname.  However, Laurel has just registered the name "Thorin bjarnkarl", where "bjarnkarl" is intended to mean "friend to bears" or "Bjarn's friend".  

The name "Þyri ulfskarl" or "Þyri vargakarl" could well be plausible and registerable (as "Þyri" is the Old Norse form of the given name, as mentioned previously by Laurel Sovereign of Arms and Rampart Herald).

As the name is returned, the device must also be returned.
